Willow Wood Steinway Grand Piano

Acquisition of a Steinway grand piano of 1909 ordered by Robert Lorimer as part of the furnishings of Lympne Castle in Kent, one of the homes of Frank Tennant. Lorimer commissioned Phoebe Anna Tarquair (1852-1936) to decorate the piano and she used Rossetti's sonnet 'Willow Wood' as an inspiration.
