Weston Park, Shropshire, Acquisition and Endowment

Acquisition, endowment of, and capital works to, Weston Park, Built to designs by Lady Wilbraham in 1671. In 1762 the estate passed to the Bridgeman family, who later became Earls of Bradford. The house is set in a fine park designed by Capability Brown, with pleasing garden buildings such as the Temple of Diana, by James Paine. Collection of fine pictures and furniture.
