Waterloo Dispatch

Acquisition of autograph draft of dispatch written by Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, to Henry, 3rd Earl of Bathurst, Secretary of State for War, announcing the Allies' decisive victory over Napoleon Bonaparte at Waterloo; 19 June 1815. It had been on loan to the British Library since 1976.
