Warwick Doll Collection

Acquisition of the doll collection started by Hilda Aycliffe, born 1888, and taken over by her daughter Joy Robinson and then her duaghter Peggy Nesbitt. It comprises over 275 wooden, wax and porcelain dolls from the 19th/early 20th centuries (including some by famous makers such as Jumeau), Pedlar dolls, musical/mechanical toys, a variety of toys and games such as dissected puzzles, board games, building bricks and two large doll's houses.
