Trevor Embroidered Panels

Acquisition of twelve embroidered panels c 1700, mainly worked in wool on a canvas ground, with details in silk thread, showing, among other scenes, a woman feeding chickens, a woman with a mandolin and a couple drinking coffee. Thought to have been worked by Prudence Trevor, daughter of Sir John Trevor, the Master of the Rools, for Brynkinallt, Clwyd, in about 1700.
