Conservation of monuments at St Nicholas Church, Stanford on Avon, which is a virtually unspoilt 14th century church with stained glass windows mainly contemporary to the building. The group of 12 monuments, a piscina and a font, date from the Reformation to the end of the 19th century, and show a complete range of types and styles spanning this period. Several were in need of urgent conservation. NHMF joined with English Heritage and the Council for the Care of Churches to support a major programme of repairs to both windows and monuments.
