St Michael, Garton-on-the-Wolds, Wall paintings

Conservation of a complete scheme of Victorian wall paintings, covering the entire walls of the nave and chancel of the small village church of St Michael, Garton-on-the-Wolds. The scheme was executed by the firm of Clayton and Bell in 1865 under the direction of the architect George Edmund Street for the local landowner Sir Tatton Sykes.
