St Andrew's Church Chinnor, Thornhill Cartoons

Conservation of a set of 16 framed oil paintings by Sir James Thornhill (1675- 1734) of apostles and evangelists. The figures are virtually life-sized. They have been identified as cartoons (dated 1722) for the North Rose window of Westminster Abbey, copied by glass painter Joshua Price.
