Spong Hill Collection

Acquisition of finds archive of, Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Romano-British and Pagan Saxon material from excavations at the Spong Hill Anglo-Saxon cemetery, North Elmham, including the 'Spong Man' figurine, the 'Spong Hill' sword and several cremation urns. The material was recovered during excavations between 1972 and 1984 by the Norfolk Archaeological Unit.
