Somerville Papers

Acquisition of a collection of Edith Somerville papers and letters including a corrected typescript of her novel 'Marie and Other Dogs' which had recently come to light in a long closed-up house in County Cork. Edith Somerville (1858-1949) is best known for her work with Violet Martin ('Martin Ross') which produced the Irish RM stories.
