Acquisition of one of Davy's notebooks, containing his writings on many subjects. This notebook covered the period July to November 1828 - a gap in the series already owned by the Royal Institution. It contains travel notes by Davy in Slovenia and Italy, notes on fish and other animals, philosophical notes, financial notes etc. Green MS notebook leather spine and corners (8"x5"); 174pp.
