Scandal, by Charles Sargeant Jagger, 1930

Bronze relief entitled Scandal, commissioned from Charles Sargeant Jagger in 1930 for the drawing room of Mulberry House, Smith Square, Westminster and to reunite it with the fire basket commissioned alongside it. The relief, signed, documented and dated, formed an integral part of an opulently decorated interior designed in 1930 by the architect Darcy Braddell (1884-1970). The fire basket also designed by Jagger, was acquired by the V&A in 2005.
