Poole Tiles from the Middlesex Hospital

Removal and re-assembly at the Jackfield Tile Museum of two tile panels designed for Middlesex Hospital babies' ward by Haydn Jensen in 1930. One panel entitled 'The Maypole' and one 'All the Fun of the Fair'. Made by Carters of Poole. The tiles had to be removed in 1988 as the ward was being converted to an intensive care unit.
