Philip Larkin Letters

Acquisition of a series of some 195 autograph and a further 24 typed letters from the poet Philip Larkin to his close friend James Ballard Sutton. They date from Aug 1938 to Jan 1952. The collection also contains 40 manuscript and typescript poems and fragments of poems as well as watercolours, cartoons and drawings.
