Acquisition of watercolour of Pegwell Bay by William Dyce RA RSA (1806-1864), one of Aberdeen;s most important artists. It is a preliminary sketch for one of Dyce's most famous paintings 'Pegwell Bay, a Recollection of October 5th 1858' which is in the Tate Gallery.
