Ouse Washes, Welney Refuge Reserve

Acquisition of two Washes (ie seasonally flooded fields) comprising 39 acres (15.75 hectares) and forming an integral part of the Wildfowl and Westlands Trust's internationally important 420ha reserve at Welney on the Ouse Washes.
