Morgan's Hill, Wiltshire
Acquisition of Morgan's Hill, c 12.5ha, which is a SSSI and consists of gently sloping downland scarp, most of which is unimproved chalk downland, with a predominantly northerly aspect. The reserve is noted for it's flora, in particular 11 orchid species. The nationally scarce round headed rampion (phyteuma orbiculare) also occurs. It is also important for butterflies, in particular the Duke of Burgundy.
