Matthew Boulton Archive

Acquisition at auction of drawings and plans from Matthew Boulton's personal archive (the major Boulton archive already held by Birmingham Public Libraries) comprising a book of maps and plans of Cornish mines for which Boulton and Watt supplied engines, c1780-90, and 25 drawings of Soho House, Royal Mint, Danish Mint, St Petersburg Mint, Soho Mint etc., 1787-1807.
