Martha Edlin Embroideries

Acquisition of two samplers and an embroidered casket worked by a child called Martha Edin between the ages of seven and eight c. 1689. The casket contains an ink bottle, pin cushion and some silver trinkets. They had been on loan to the Museum since 1927.
