Acquisition of a manuscript of 'The Mirror of Synners' or Speculum Ecclesiae, by St Edmund of Abingdon, Archbishop of Canterbury (d. 1240). Written in Middle English with illuminated scroll work, c. 1450-75. Formerly in the ownership of the Throckmorton family at Coughton Court, Warwickshire. 1 Volume.
