Lutyens sketches for the Cenotaph, Whitehall

Acquisition of five drawings in pencil, colour pencil, ink on paper, various dimensions, and a draft letter to Sir Frank Barnes. All dated July 1919. The drawings show proposed designs for the Cenotaph in Whitehall, along with alternative versions. The drawings were made at dinner with Lady Sackville following an initial meeting with Lloyd George earlier that day.
