Littlecote Armoury

Acquisition for retention at Littlecote House, Berkshire, of collection of Civil War arms and armour - the largest single collection of its type in existence, having been supplied to the troops led by Colonel Alexander Popham when he was the owner of Littlecote. Includes 96 muskets and carbines, 56 pistols, 37 buff coats, 25 troopers half-armours and numerous other items.
