Kinneff Old Church Memorials

Conservation of memorials that commemorate the hiding of the Honours of Scotland - the crown, sceptre and sword - in the church in 1651 during the seige of nearby Dunnottar Castle, to where they had been removed away from Cromwell's advancing army. The memorials are dedicated to the Ogilvy and Grainger families who were involved in the incident.
