Kenwood Furniture

Acquisition of a pair of George III giltwood pier glasses and marble-topped tables. These appear in record for Kenwood throughout the 19th century but were sold, with the other contents, in 1922. Their style suggests they were commissioned by the 1st Earl of Mansfiled in the 1750s or 1760s.
