Jacquard silk looms, Macclesfield

Acquisition of 28 19th century Jacquard silk looms in original position on top floor of Grade II listed Paradise Mill. The firm of Cartwright and Sheldon used these looms and produced hand-woven silk for ties from 1912 to 1981.
