Henry Hindley Clock

Acquisition of year-going longcase clock by Henry Hindley of York (1701-71) who also made the clock in York Minster. One of four year-going clocks known to have been made by Hindley and the movement is of a very fine quality and prefectly preserved. The clock retains its original pendulum and driving weight and will run for 54.8 weeks on each winding.
