Greenlee Lough, Northumberland

Acquisition of Greenlee Lough, which is included in the Roman Wall Loughs SSSI. This includes the three open water areas of Crag, Broomlee and Greenlee Loughs with their associated marginal habitats, immediate catchments and the peat-filled basin known as Caw Lough. Greenlee Lough, the largest of the three loughs, extends to over 105 acres. It supports a large and varied wildfowl population.
