Greater Horseshoe Bats

Repair of roof of building to protect greater horseshoe bat colony, the rarest of all the 14 varieties of bats in Britain. This was one of only 4 breeding colonies in 1980, and it was severely threatened by the deteriorating condition of the roof which they inhabited.
