George Medal and other medals awarded to Berthe Emilie Fraser

Acquisition of the George Medal, and eight other French and US medals awarded to Mrs Berthe Fraser who, during the Second World War organised an 'underground' escape route for British servicemen. She later co-operated with various Intelligence organisations and assisted in the escape of Wing Commander FFE Yeo-Thomas GC 'The White Rabbit' who worked for SOE (RF Section). Together with the medals the collection also comprises a number of documents relating to clandestine work in Occupied France.
