Garn Goch, Brecon Beacons

Acquisition of 395 acres of common land known as Garn Goch to ensure that the area's important natural and archaeological characteristics can be maintained. Besides being a designated area of moorland and heath, the entire site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument: on its summits are two iton age hill forts, with additional hut circles, ancient filed enclosures, terraces and pit dwellings.
