Ednam Hoard

Acquisition of 242 coins from a hoard (totalling 1,472 silver coins) of English and Scottish kings and various continental fulers all minted between 1280 and 1322. Found on a building site in Roxburghshire, and declared a treasure trove, they will be displayed at the National Museums of Scotland.
