D H Lawrence Manuscripts

Acquisition of a group of eleven manuscripts by D H Lawrence, including an autograph manuscript of 'Touch and Go', a three-act play, a typescript of a short story 'Wintry Peacock', a revised autograph manuscript of the poem 'Death-Paen of a Mother' and a mixed autograph and typescript manuscript of 'Studies in classic American Literature IX'. Also amongst the group are various sets of proofs with the author's corrections including 'Amores' a collection of 60 poems.
