Crucifixion, Siennese School

Acquisition of painting of Crucfixion, tempera with a gold background, probably painted around 1330 in Sienna by a follower of Duccio di Buonsegna (active 1278-1318). Because of its high quality it was originally attributed to Duccio but is now generally accepted as being by a later follower. Egg tempera on panel 39.5 x 61.6 cm
