Coleraine Roof

Salvage and relocation to the Museum of a 17th century oak butt purlin roof from a house in Coleraine. Only the roof of the building was of interest, other features either missing or suffering from 19th century additions. The roof represents an important prototype, aligning with the 17th century of Coleraine as a major town developed during the Ulster Plantation.
