Coed-y-maen Papers

Acquisition of papers from Coed-y-Maen of a) Sir William Williams 'Speaker Williams' (1634-1700), and b) Charles Watkin Williams-Wynn (1775-1850), politician, including extensive correspondence with Lord Grenville and others of his family. They had been on loan to the National Library of Wales since 1925 and 1959 respectively.
