Acquisition of the diaries and family papers of Charles Robert Cockerell (1788-1863) a major architect of the 19th century and the first recipient, in 1848, of the RIBA's Royal Gold Medal. Diaries 1821-30, 1832; notebook entitled 'Memoranda of a tour through Devon and Wales' by C R Cockerell, 1806.
