Chelsea Physic Garden

Endowment of Chelsea Physic Garden, founded in 1677 by the Society of Apothecaries, for the cultivation and study of plants for medicinal and general scientific use. It is one of the oldest botanic gardens in the world, pre-dating Kew by nearly a century.
