Chambers Gower House Table

Acquisition of a George III giltwood D-shaped side table with a stepped edge marble top, circa 1774. Design attributed to Sir William Chambers (1723-1796). One of a pair designed for the Great Drawing Room at Gower House, Whitehall for the 2nd Earl of Gower (d 1803).
