Castle Water Estate, Rye Harbour

Acquisition of a 219 - acre estate at Rye Harbour, which contains the second largest systen of natural shingle in southern England. It forms part of Rye Harbour SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest), and is a Geological Conservation review site. Castle Water estate lies on the northern side of the SSSI.
