Captain Cook letter

Acquisition of letter from Captain Cook to Lord Sandwich, Cape of Good Hope, 26 November 1776, detailing stores taken aboard and commenting on the excellent behaviour of Sandwich's protégé, Omai. This was the last letter written by Cook to his patron as he set out on the journey from which he would not return.
