Canons Ashby Endowment

Contribution to endowment fund for Canons Ashby on its acquisition by the National Trust. The property consists of the manor house, dating from the 16th century; early 18th century Walled Garden enclosures; 19th century domestic cart sheds and stabling (converted) and the 13th century remains of the Priory church of the Austin canons, adapted in the 17th century as a gentleman's peculiar.
