Canna: Repairs to Four Cottages

Repairs to four cottages on Isle of Canna, owned by National Trust for Scotland. When NHMF assisted NTS with purchase of Canna in 1981, it was agreed in principle to assist with some of the capital works of repair to buildings and pier. In June 1983 a grant of £39,000 was provided to cover purchase of a house on Canna which had come on the market.This application was for repairs and rehabilitation of four houses.
