Bust of James Corry by Thomas Kirk

Acquisition of bust of James Corry Jnr (1772-1837), Secretary of the Irish Linen Board from 1796 to 1828. It is a fine example of the work of Thomas Kirk, RHA (1781-1845) the leading sculptor in Dublin in the first half of the 19th century. White statuary marble inscribed on reverse and signed.
