Acquisition of 69 acres of Brockadale Plantation, a wooded valley containing ash, sycamore and beech, a rich herbacious flora and a good colony of breeding birds. The plantation had been managed under lease by the wildlife trust, but the Forestry Commission is selling the freehold.
