Briddlesford Woods, Isle of Wight

Acquisition of 207 acres of ancient, broadleaved woodland to the north east of the Isle of Wight. Most of the woodland forms part of the Briddlesford Copses SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest). Of particular interest and importance are the large populations of both red squirrels and dormice. To be managed as a nature reserve.
