Biddulph Grange Garden

Acquisition of Biddulph Grange, a 14 acre garden created around 1842 by its owner James Bateman. It survived virtually intact. The concept of the garden is that of dividing areas into distinctive countries, for example, Italy, Egypt and China. Its importance derives from its design and plantings, as well as from its use of buildings and structures.
