Barford Meadows, Northamptonshire

Acquisition of 47.5 hectares of land, of which 14 acres are Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Barford Meadows just to the north of Kettering, form part of the River Ise SSSI, the (then) only river so designated in the country. The meadows is to be managed as a nature reserve.
