Altar Table from Stoneleigh Abbey

Acquisition of mahogany altar table made by William Gomm in 1764 for the chapel at Stoneleigh Abbey. The 5th Lord Leigh commissioned the piece in 1764 for use as an altar table in the chapel at his house, Stonleigh Abbey, Warwickshire. Made by the cabinet-making firm William Gomm and Son of Clerkenwell Close, London.
