Monson Papers

The Monson collection contains documents of national and international importance covering 500 years. It was accrued by the Monson family who regularly produced individuals whose importance, correspondence and connections cast new, and often unseen light on diplomacy, military campaigns, the Royal Household and colonial administration. It is considered an ‘indispensable part of the record of British national life’.
