Saving Manuscripts From the Age of Shakespeare

The Bodleian Library acquired a collection of rare works by 17th century greats John Donne, John Locke and John Aubrey. The collection includes a rare manuscript of one of John Donne’s most famous poems – Good Friday, 1613, Riding Westward. The Bodleian purchased these items from the Pirie collection at auction and all items have now been catalogued and are available at the Bodleian Libraries.
